TOTEM Desk — Privacy

This page describes how TOTEM Desk handles information when you use the app. We wrote it in plain language because most people just want to know what happens to their numbers and notes.

What we collect

We do not run a user account system for this app, and we do not ask you to sign in. The calculator inputs you type, saved history, templates, scenario notes, trade plans, and preset chips are kept on your iPhone or iPad in the app’s own storage area. We do not receive those items on our servers because we do not operate a backend that pulls your content out of the app.

Photos and camera

If you attach a photo to a trade plan or scenario, the app uses the camera or your photo library only when you choose to add an image. Those pictures are saved with your other app data on the device. We do not upload them anywhere on your behalf.

What stays on your device

Things that typically remain local include:

Deleting the app from your device generally removes this stored data along with it. If your device is restored from a backup, stored app data may return as part of that restore—we do not control how backups work on your phone.

Sharing from the app

When you tap Share on a result or export text, you are using the built-in share options on your device. What happens after you pick a destination is outside the app. We do not see what you send.

Children

TOTEM Desk is a general planning and learning tool. It is not aimed at young children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.

Changes

If we change how the app stores data or what permissions it uses, we will update this page and adjust the date above. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised description.
